Sudio Fem Review + 15% Discount Code
With Sudio's main focus on fully wireless products, I have to say they've come a long way. This Chinese New Year, Sudio will be releasing their latest completely wireless earphones, the Sudio Fem!
Being a non-audiophile, I will simply be reviewing the design and features and giving some of my honest feedback on the Sudio Fem in comparison to the previous true wireless earphones that Sudio sent me (which I have been using for almost a year now), the Sudio Tolv.
First of all, I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate the clean and professional presentation of Sudio's products. The box and wrapper seriously damn chio. If you're interested in my trashy unboxing video, I'll be leaving it on my Instagram story highlights @vodkamuffins till the promotion period is over!
In case you're wondering what the contents of the box are (aside from the earphones), every purchase comes with a free Sudio crossbody pouch (top right) & CNY gift wrapping (top left)!
So, a little about the Sudio Fem. It comes in four colours - Black, White, Blue, and Pink.
It is said to provide 20 hours of battery life (6 hours in a single charge), which from what I recall, is a slight decrease from what the Sudio Tolv promised - a battery life of up to 35 hours. But to be honest, who's counting? Both earphones have sustained me on the go for days while I travelled overseas/ran full-day errands in Singapore.
Battery life is subjective anyway... If your eardrums prefer a little challenge, music at higher volumes drains battery life faster because no shit higher volumes require more power to drive the speakers.

Of course I ordered the Black. Sudio's elegant and minimalist design is pretty much a given. Looking at the portable charging case itself, it's made of the same soft-touch material as the Tolv, but is flatter and more circular in shape. Being used to the more eggy shape of the Tolv's cradle, I found it slightly difficult to flip open the Fem's cradle with one hand but... It's really no biggie because I have two hands. Ok lame.
The charging port can be found on the side of the charging case, and the cradle's battery life is indicated by 4 LED lights when you flip open the cradle itself (0%, 25%, 50%, and 100%). I find this an improvement from the Sudio Tolv that had 2 LED lights which... I think only lit up when either the cradle or earphones were charging? Wasn't much of an indication of the overall battery level.
Anyways, small issue but I think what can be improved from the Sudio Fem would be to have the light indicators come on the moment the cradle is opened? The LED lights kinda only light up upon the reconnection of the earphones.
The Sudio Fem also features a touch control panel, individual automatic pairing (both earbuds connect directly to your device), IPX5 - splash, rain, and sweat proof, and is equipped with a graphene driver for a greater music experience!
The touch panel is an enhancement from the Sudio Tolv, which had buttons that I found rather inconvenient because I had to readjust the earbuds back into my ear whenever I pressed them. Also, I have experienced trouble getting both Tolv earphones to connect to my device in the past (had to reset them by putting them back in the case). So far no issues with the Fem!
Digging out everything from the accessories box, there are 5 different sizes of ear tips provided to choose from (middle size pre-installed) and it's notable that Sudio has moved to USB-C!
Audio quality wise, aside from the better noise cancellation, there was clarity in vocals, the overall frequency is still bass-heavy (the way I like it), and the highs did not make me shriek at ear-piercing frequencies. Overall, I would say the audio quality of the Sudio Fem sounds better compared to its predecessor.

My first impression of the Sudio Fem was that the shape of the earphones were kinda weird? But nothing is without purpose! Incorporating the Real Clear Voice: 4-microphones system, the Sudio Fem has 2 microphones on each earbud, one at the top part and the other pointing towards the user's mouth. It is also moulded to fit the basic shape of a ear and true enough, it had a much more natural and comfortable fit in my ear compared to the Sudio Tolv, allowing for a greater seal and thus better noise isolation.
